This year's Finger Lakes Spring Grape IPM Meeting will be hosted by Roy & Gordon Taft at Vine Country Farms on Tuesday, May 23. The meeting will provide quick but thorough updates on important pest management issues including new materials, new sprayer technology and application techniques, important updates on regulations and research projects and more. Dinner and pesticide re-certification credits will be available. Be sure to bring your own chair if you want to sit during the meeting. There is no cost to those enrolled with the FLGP for 2017. The fee is $15 per person for those not enrolled with the Grape Program. Sponsorship Notes
We're excited to once again be holding our Finger Lakes Spring Grape IPM meeting! As we have in the past, we are asking for interested companies and suppliers to be sponsors for this meeting to help defray some of the costs. Those of you who have participated in the past know what a good opportunity this is to connect with many of the region's grape growers and provide them with information on new products and formulation or label changes. The meeting consists of about 1.5 hours of program and demonstrations primarily by researchers and extension staff from Cornell, followed by an informal BBQ dinner, all of which is provided at no cost to the growers.
The sponsorship cost for this year's meeting is $175. As a sponsor, you will be recognized on the meeting agenda that will go out to all of the growers, we will provide you with a few feet of table top space to display any product literature you would like to provide, and you will also be given a few minutes near the end of the meeting to briefly present any information that you would like to share with the growers.
